As a technical pre sales engineer you have a solid background in system engineering and have experience with server and preferably also with desktop virtualization. You get to work closely with the account managers of the company, where you are their technical conscience. The account manager (AM) is the sparring partner with the clients commercial side, you accompany the AM to shine light on the technical capabilities of the solutions your company can offer.
You must have well developed communication skills, verbal and orally, to make help the AM close the deal. You work with the clients technical IT managers to map their application landscape and help them visualize their benefits of working with the software your company is selling. You take care of demo’s, training, and workshops. As a technical pre sales engineer you have the talent of making visions visible for the potential clients of this firm and you have the gift of convince your sparring partners (together with the AM) that without your offered solutions your potential client is losing time and therefore money.

- A relevant higher vocational education, for example business IT or Computer Science*
- Multiple years of experience with system engineering / cloud computing
- Proven experience with (desktop) virtualization
- Fluent in English, speaking Dutch and/or German is a plus
- Willing to travel (90% NL and neighbouring countries)
- As a person sharp and analytical
- Strong communication skills
